ABOUT ME...

Hey! I’m Samay, a second-year undergraduate attending NYU Tisch School of the Arts majoring in interactive media arts and computer science. I specialize in UI/UX and have additional experience with graphic design.

My journey with design started with my graphic arts class in high school, where I learned the basics of Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator. After years of practicing with different applications, I learned about UI/UX, a sector of design where I feel I can make meaningful impacts with my work.

Whenever I’m not designing, I love gathering a group to thrift at L Train Vintage or 2nd STREET USA. I’m also a huge movie, music, and pop culture lover, which has strongly influenced my interest in digital design. My favorite artists are KAYTRANADA, Travis Scott, and Tame Impala.
